According to the rules, free actions such as swapping (trading) objects between heroes may not take place during actions which involve spending "hours" (movement, combat).
An exception to this rule is when heroes are participating in group combat, they may swap objects (such as a Potion, or a Shield etc.) at the end of a combat round.
But can a hero engaged in group combat still give objects to other heroes at the end of a battle round even if he/she has decided not to participate in the next battle round (i.e., even if he/she has decided to leave the current battle)?
For example (from our recent game session) : the Wizard, who was wielding the 3 Runestones (the Black die) and was low on Willpower Points, decided to withdraw from a group combat against a Troll. The Warrior decided to continue. Could the Wizard give her runestones to the Warrior before leaving the battle, even though she decided not to participate in the next battle round?
